When I first started watching yard transformation videos I thought there might be people living these neighborhoods who would take offense that someone would show up to clean up an overgrown yard. But I have never seen anyone express that sentiment. On the contrary, the people living in these neighborhoods are always so pleased and almost flattered that someone would care enough to show up and make the neighborhood look better. On a side note, I like the neighbor's 1967 Pontiac convertible.

Spencer, you be careful when you do abandoned, deserted, or houses with squatters living in them!! I just watched the new M&D Lawn Care Video! Some guy stormed out of his new, shiny, red pickup truck yelling at them and telling them to get off his property. He didn't even want to hear that it was free! The trash in the yard filled several bags, the grass and weeds knee deep, the fence overgrown with weeds, the sidewalk covered in dirt and grass, and the place looked like a dump! This guy was rude and threatening. Daniel left the camera running while he and his father gathered their equipment because they didn't know what this guy would do. That man stood guard over that house watching and yelling at them to leave. Daniel said nothing like this had ever happened to them before. So, be careful, Spencer!! Great job on this one!! 👍 You bring hope for a possible makeover for these houses! A house is built for a family to fill it with happiness and love. Little Post War Housing. 2 bedrooms, bath, kitchen and living room. Single car garage attached to the house was a big welling point. You didnt have to carry groceries in in the rain etc. Original cost was less than $1000.00.

I think the thing that impresses me the very most about you, Spencer, is that you will take the time to pick up every piece of trash and bag it, rather than just chop it up and leave it in the yard. I wish I had the money to buy that cute little house, fix it up and get it available for a young couple just starting out. I was looking around at the houses around the house. There is a big apartment building across the street. Across from the street from front of the house, there are some much newer houses but still at least 20 years old. The land that house is sitting on is prime for developers. The man who lives next door is also on prime land. Of course, this could mean an old neighborhood in the middle of “gentrification” and lots of affordable housing has already been replaced. The guy next door seems to be a good guy and he keeps his property up and he may not want to sell and move elsewhere. Many years ago, over 50, my ex-husband’s grandmother had a tiny little house in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Over the years before that, the neighborhood had become 100% commercial with factories and other businesses. The house was so old she was still cooking on a wood burning stove. She had dozens of handmade quilts that would be worth a fortune even then. All her family had left Chattanooga for Nashville and only some other stubborn neighbors around her took care of her, took her to church, shopping, the doctor. On the rare occasions when family did visit, they would walk around the house talking about who wanted what when she died. Well, when she died, her will left all her family out and the people who took care of her got the property. I met her one time and she was a fascinating lady I would have loved to get to know better. She was born in 1893 on land of the Eastern Cherokees who stayed in Georgia.

I'm 66 years old and I have not had poison ivy in over 25+ years. Whenever I come inside from being exposed(cutting grass), I take my clothes off to the washing machine. I use dish washing liquid with wash cloth to wash the oil off. I wash my hair and "everything!" I enjoy SB Mowing because I lose 1 - 2 lbs. watching you do all the work. LOL!

Spencer is allergic to poison ivy- he does all that when he comes in contact, but he avoids it like the plague! In one of his older videos he said he had to go to the hospital due to his severe reaction.

Well Spencer stupidity can be very painful and at times deadly for some people ... Love to watch you on Fridays. It gets my gitty up to go do my yard... Even tho "I" am on immunotherapy every 4 weeks (for the rest of my life) I find time to get it ALL done. With refurbished equipment. 👍🏼🏆. I saved up 75 for my mower & 30 for the trimmer. Next a blower. It's been 3 years with them. NO excuses in my home. Time to lean, there's time to clean.
