Every time I see one of these abandoned properties, I have to wonder why there isn't a system in place to reclaim them for use for HOMELESS VETS... Struggling on SS, disabled and still having to TRY to work, I wouldn't mind just about ANY of these places. They may not be a GREAT place to live, but they would be a blessing to any one of the THOUSANDS of homeless in this country!!

That's brilliant, I've been thinking for a long time that someone should make a less back breaking tool for this job. I wonder how heavy it is to load/unload.

He’ll need a bigger truck.

Spenser: that city had a safety issue and should have done something about it. I bet those neighbors were so happy with what you did for them. It was like day and night. Well done, but a huge job. Carol from California

No city crew would have done what Spenser did. 😧

Of. Course the neighbors are happy. No one had to do anything but watch.

At the end showing us the finished job!. Wonderful! There was a cat on the lawn next door, he was saying "Thanks Spencer, I got lost in there one day took me hours to find my way out"!

I'm astonished that neighbors are willing to answer your questions, but not willing to come together collectively for the sake of human safety to maintain that grass...very sad. I also think while the city had time to deem that place unsafe...they have just as much time to donate financially to your services. So happy to know people like you are walking the earth doing what you do!!!
@eloiseharris201410 ай бұрын
I was thinking the same. That grass was insane. There's no way I could live next to that. If I couldn't mow it, or get the city to tackle it, I would have paid to have it mowed. But long before it got that out of hand. SB is amazing!

Thinking the exact same thing. Apparently not a very neighborly neighboorhood.
@robbybevard803410 ай бұрын
@@doingitinthedirt Seriously! Like no one expects you to also clean the backyard or pull down all the vines, but when you are mowing your own yard anyway, go the extra 8 feet and keep it under control. That entire front yard would probably only add a few minutes for someone already mowing if they just kept it under control.

😢 I think this job is not as good as most of his work to rushed and left the grass on the lawn spoilt what could have been a good job ,may be that was the idear but he trying to sell to much and keeping his mind on the job at hand ,,from the land down 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 keep up the good work and make shore the ones that need it get it .not the free loaders we have here in Aust to,🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋

Thanks to your generosity, now the neighborhoodies can jump in to keep the property from becoming overwhelming - again! Heroic effort, my friend.

I think in a month and a half this place will be overgrown again. And the neighbors won’t care again

They CAN jump in. But, will they? Not holding my breath.
@SayuriTsukine8 ай бұрын
@@daviddsantos33doubt it. They had let it get to that point in the first place and waited for a good Samaritan to do it for free. No one wants to be the one paying for their lawn and the vacant house's lawn.

When I saw this property I nearly had heart failure! Oh my God in some areas it was nearly up to your waist assuming you're tall it could've swallowed a child. Wondering do you ever hear back from the city I so would need a spa day after this one...the time,strength, and worrying if your equipment would hold was a roller coaster ride for me...anyway you are an angel for sure... Love and blessings from Canada ❤❤😮

Omg you did an awesome job on that hay field. Oops, I mean grass. Lol. You need to get yourself a heavy-duty metal garden rake for places like this. It would be easier than trying to move it with the shovel. Though you never cease to amaze me. You're a real blessing.
