The footage is from a feature length video they made called The Police Around The World which is of them on tour in 1980/81. In the original film the middle section cuts to the audio of them playing live however this has been re-edited so we only hear the studio version.

Same here. I had to wait a month to get it after ordering it in from a local video store where I grew up in North London. I find it a bit weird this video doesn't include the live section it does in Police Around The World as Sting and Stewart really go for it in that bit.

Loved this song! I was lucky enough to spend sometime talking to Sting in a room all by ourselves 🤩 I asked him if he'd kindly sign a bunch of 'PostIt' notes to hand a round the staff which he did while we talked. He was a really nice guy and quite tall lol!

My favorite album. Gosh I just went through my album collection. I'm buying a high powered turntable today! I have all Police albums, all of every band. I have sealed , legit rare albums. Crazy bootleg albums of Led Zeppelin. I wonder if they're worth much? Much to me! I spent every free moment I had as a teen in Ralfs Records and Tapes! My favorite place. Used and new. I spent so many hrs flipping thru albums. Piling up collections. I'm so glad I did that. I have some beautiful gems! Get em spinning asap. 🎶🙏

Yesssss! Was entirely unaware that a music video for this existed, from back in the day or any period. To say that this track was a B-side seems like an understatement. I honestly don't recall anyone being aware of this song when I was a kid cuz no one ever mentioned it but some of the greatest musical finds are like that: you can hardly believe it wasn't a chart-topper because it was so damn good. It just didn't get any better than this in 1980 if you were a big fan of The Police's unconventional, maverick fusion of disparate musical styles. It was the big rare experiment that went right in mainstream music.
