@@JulioCesar-ep3jx No playback here, you obviously lack attention to details, these musicians are monsters. BTW, didn't notice that you don't hear the bass guitar? I can point you hundreds of details showing it's really played, moreover, the studio version doesn't sounds the same at all with the typically 80's gated drums. This is a rehearsal in a studio. TFF has ALWAYS hired top notch backing bands since everyone from the original team - and they were all top notch- left and Orzabal hired "mercenaries" kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpzKlWaqerdkr6s Same team here. This drummer is a real metronome

I was a teenager in the '80s and adored Tears for Fears. It's awesome to see they're still performing at the very high level that they always have. This song is a timeless classic for a reason. 38 years after its release and it still sounds fresh and exciting. Perhaps it's an old man thing to say, but it geniunely sounds better to me than any of the modern songs in the Top 40 charts today. Thank you, Tears for Fears, for the decades of joy and emotion I have derived from your music.

@@philliplogansr6993, as a guy nearing 70, I have lived through every music generation from Elvis and the Beatles through today. I have said for a long time now that the 80's, relative to any other decade had the best collection of different genres of music and talent. So much of what was made then holds up so well today. This song is a perfect example.

I remember coming home from school, throwing over there my backpack, turning on MTV listening this mesmerizing music, dreaming of my beauty schoolie girl, thinking life is so good and nice, living my last days of innocence... before life gone adult in a sinuous way...NOW in my 50' s close my eyes and fly away that time, and I start to cry, I can't explain why. My friends are gone, the pandemic took my father and I'm not the man inside that child I was, and maybe is mature to think that is allright to accept that life is just what it is. This music is magic.

"like artists today" as said by EVERYONE that think their generation had the only good music. Go watch any song from the last 70 years on youtube and half the comments will be about how music these days is trash in comparison. Even songs made less than 10 years ago people claim the exact same thing. Let people enjoy what they enjoy, just like those before your time should have.

Shocked to see Tears for Fears still rocking after all these years!!! Their powerful vocals and heartfelt lyrics still carries loud and clear hearing them again. They don't need stupid backup dancers or ridiculous pyrotechnics to enhance their performance. They play and they sing...simply awesome.
