In fact, their excess mortality in 22-23 when dropping restrictions was 50% higher than Sweden experienced in 20-21 pre vaccines. Overall Norwegian excess mortality ended up being higher than Swedens for the pandemic 20-23 period. It was a marathon, not a sprint.
