I've been missing your content, it's always been refreshingly honest. Your loyalty to your racquet of choice is testament to your convictions. It's a super rare trait and deserves recognition. ps. Hoping your Honda NSX is still going strong, a ridiculously cool choice of car in a sea of mediocracy. :)

I just play tested this string 17G and have to honestly say it was the best and now my go to string. Tension maintenance was above average, spin and playability as well. Great string worth a test drive.

Huge fan of your channel. Key features about this string: 1) String 1.5-2kg lower than your normal tension if your racket is above 66RA. 2) Suits best players who hit with heavy topspin just like you. 3) Last but not least, the snapback effect is the most insane I've come across so far even many hours of play! Allow me to put my own feedback on this string: String #review ReString Zero 1.23 (24kg) x Diadem Nova FS 100 The blue electric colour looked amazing on my blacked-out frame. Sharp-edged profile could be felt on my fingers. Baseline forehand: Stiffness was high. Not uncomfortable. Short dwelling time. Very responsive. Many RPMS were seen on my shots. Access to spin was always there. Could land the ball near my partner's baseline or towards the sidelines, predictably. Missed very few shots out of-bounds or at the net. Cross-court on the run hits, also excellent. backhand: I hit 1hbh and try several 2-handed. Backhand is a flatter offensive shot for me. Were more predictable when I inputed some topspin. Completely flat ones, sometimes landed shorter or a little farther than I wanted. Backhand slices from the baseline were fantastic! The ball would always stay low and long. Approch slices to the net had slight higher launch angle. I hit those better with round-profiled strings. Mid-court: hitting with a semi-closed racket face from chest high, I hit many winners. Net: great directional control. Better at guiding the ball, than blocking. Overall: The Zero allowed me to use my own power into my shots without fear of overshooting. It suits best high-intermediate and advanced players who hit with spin. Slices were excellent! One of the best strings for finesse shots like drop shot volleys with backspin. I absolutely loved it! Snapback is insane! Thanks for the opportunity! Comfort ⭐⭐⭐⭐➖➖ Stiffness ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐➖ Power ⭐⭐⭐➖➖➖ Ball bite ⭐⭐⭐⭐➖➖ Spin ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Feel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐➖

Thanks for the review. Would you please review Tourna’s “doppelgänger” strings and how they compare to their originals - ALU power, RPM Blast, etc. I have Tourna 16 big hitter silver 16 in the hybrid with Technifibre RPX mains, and I love it as poor man’s alternative to Natural Gut + ALU Power.

I think you're focusing on the wrong point here. People going for these really care about spin and duration, the environment aspect is secondary. I hear these string do a fantastic job on those which will actually save people money since vast majority of people don't restring themselves so more than half the cost of strings is labor. if these last 2x as much then that saves people 25%+ right there. Not to mention going to the shop to restring and then getting the racquet back is not always convenient.

Great review, current string is Hyper-G but I'm testing this as well as Luxlion Eco Power soon. Would Eco Power be a string you'd consider for an upcoming review?

I've noticed a lot of your shots landed around the service line , even some big drives with generous net clearance. Did you notice greater spin potential than with other polys? Or on par?

I’m confused as to what do they mean by “developed”. A small brand surely can’t afford owning a factory so some other string brand must be producing this string for them.
@EvokeTennis
@EvokeTennis Жыл бұрын
You don't need to own a factory, you find a string maker and you work with them to customize your string, I believe it's South Korea in this care. Most strings , and products in general are made like this, however there are some companies that make their own. Often times the same string factories make strings for different brands.
@msalvs
@msalvs Жыл бұрын
@@EvokeTennis brands which don’t own factories usually pick their strings from a catalogue. I doubt there’s much R&D going on directly with the factory.

I wonder how related to the new head hawk these are?
@EvokeTennis
@EvokeTennis Жыл бұрын
I actually played these side by side a few times! Zero was the more aggressive , bite feeling, easy to get crazy spin. hawk power I had to work to get it to spin big. Hawk Power more springy feeling, Zero more muted

@@EvokeTennis have you tried Toroline Ether? This looks super similar to that. I love Ether and its practically the same as their Wasabi string which is my go to string.

They still have not answered my question related to its use in an 18x20 95 . I sent my message twice . Apparently they answer questions to just reviewers . There is also no company address on there site . Technifibre answers questions as a regional hq and even dunlop , yet poorly .

You can really afford to add some more shoulder turn to your forehand. It will help you with the fluidity and pop on that side. I’m gonna have to try this stuff soon. Thanks for the vid

No, it's not. I was one of the first here in Europe to play ReString Zero. I played the thin gauge and have the thick gauge to play yet. Just yesterday I played 45 minutes at high pace with the Mayami Tour Hex 1.23. Tour Hex is softer and more powerful. Both have excellent spin assistance. Both not suited for flat hitters though, I think, so far.

The caring about the environment is BS. If we cared about the environment we wouldn't play tennis or figure a way to have balls that can be used for a year, recycled and the same thing with string. Seems every product now has a fake cause to make us want to buy it. Good review and info.
