Pulled the trigger on the car tuning kit. Just waiting now. I'm going to do johnson 2110 lifters.

Congrats Dayron! You’ll love it, comes with everything you need to make 1000+. Only down side is all the miles you’ll be putting on the car because it’s just so damn addicting to drive 😂

Greetings from Down Under (lockdown capital of the world) I can't recommend Morel tie bar lifters and PSI double valve springs as a combo enough. First hand experience with them and they cop all types of flogging. Yes tie bar lifters aren't quiet but they hold up bloody well for NA or boosted 6L. I have a oil leak from mine, so also in hardware mode!

Greetings Zak! Yeah I should of went with aftermarket lifters Im thinking Johnson but I’ll look at the morels also. Thank you for the suggestion my friend.

That makes two M6 GXPs down. I feel your pain. My stock engine finally let go after years of abuse at over 800 rwhp. Rod #2 decided to call it quits and left the room. Lol. It's part of this expensive game.

What lifters do you have in it?

I have the factory GM Ls7 lifters, I should of went Johnson or something else to deal with the increased spring pressures.

@@J2GXP my LS7 lifters failed also. Second set. I will be changing to Johnson 2110s...

Sorry to hear about your bad luck, but you said it: never compliment your project car! Can't wait to see it back together with the Holden fenders. looking to do the ZL1 diff too. Does it use a driveshaft of the same dimensions as stock? I don't won't to have to replace my carbon piece again.
@J2GXP2 жыл бұрын
Yeah im looking forward to putting those fenders on I love the look. As for the diff, I had to get a custom shaft made, your stock one won’t work. But the driveshaft shop may be able to just make billet adaptors or something to take up the difference. I would call who ever made you driveshaft and see what the have to say.

@@J2GXP I was thinking the same thing about the billet adapters too as it should be pretty close already. Mine is the DSS carbon unit for an M6. I have an SS diff already and am still using the G8 M6 DSS shaft so I was thinking that I could keep it, but your are right. Just need to call DSS and confirm
