Finally got to installing the oil cooler

Any idea how much extra oil to add in order to fill the lines and the cooler? I

I pre-filled mine when I installed it and it took about 3/4 of a quart. Probably a full quart of oil if you include the oil in the lines

Old video but what coolant overflow tank did you use? Any details on how you swapped over from the stock setup to the current one that let's you have the boost pipe pass through?

It actually came with the kit, so I’m not sure of the brand. The great thing about the G8’s over flow is it’s not pressurized, so really you can use whatever tank you want. Then I just used some coolant hose to change the routing to where it is now. Originally I used a moroso tank, but I prefer the look of this one.

@SJR_Garage really appreciate the reply. Yea I was wondering how it worked, I didn't think it was pressure as it's just the cap with a dipstick to the water

Exactly, just pick a spot and tank you like run the hose and you are good to go 👍🏻

Did you use self tappers to mount the cooler?

Yes, they come with a rubber washer to dampen the vibration
