Ridiculous how impossible it is to find SMU games from this era.

Pompous UT recruiter tells Eric Dickerson, "if you go out of state to play (i.e. Okl, USC), we will make sure you never get a job in Texas." He said that to high school kid! F' Texas. SMU kicked their $%# in those days. And before I get slammed by some UT lovers, answer this question: What school has the greatest wealth, biggest resources and accomplishes the least with it.....?
@dwightlove37043 жыл бұрын
Dickerson in a NFL NETWORK INTERVIEW told his grandmother to make that Texas Recruiter to leave their home and after that he hated Texas because of their arrogant attitude.

I guess that recruit forgot the obvious the rest of Dickerson's football career.

SMU didn't kick Texas a$$'s in those days. SMU won in 80 82, &85. They lost in 81,83,84,86 and we don't need to talk about after 87 till they left the conference.

Back then a silly study was done and half of the smu students wore Rolex watches. I know UT has a lot of $$ but isn’t SMU one of the wealthiest schools ?

I saw that Harris Highlights started up a series called "A Game to Remember". He takes a game and condenses it into a 15 minute video. I was like "I can do that!" followed by "He seems to make those for only modern games". So if this is popular, then I may start making 10 minute condensed versions of older games. Sound good to you guys? - Pocky -

Sounds like the best idea of the 2017 PreSeason; Pocky Candy. I was distance bike riding in a fashionable (expensive) Queens NYC Neighborhood yesterday and saw Pockycandy for sale in an organic kale n quinoa grocery. It reminding me of you so For the next hour all I could think about was Rushing Yardage piling up.
@WalterWhiteFootballSharing7 жыл бұрын
Your channel is great because Football is a 12 month a year thing for us hardcore fans (what; there's other sports? They suck, no violence and simplistic strategy) Rushing yardage my favorite part. So the Pony Express has my attention (thank you ESPN 30for30!) but the quality of recorded 1980's games leaves a lot to be desired. For so many games can't even see the blocking schemes that make up the WHOLE decisive region; where the game was won or lost. At least modern NFL angles I can tell if its Inside, Outside Zone, Power, Counter, Trap, who fucked up who made a great play. Even though....For over 15 years That's often not where the NFL game was won; that happened downfield off the screen. Even so, its often that trenches IS the place it was won or lost. O line Couldn't stop the pass rush; the tall white statue NFL QB didn't have a chance to push the ball farther then 6 yards per catch. Or; a dominant O line gave so much time a shitty QB found open guys even though he can't read a Defense in the rhythm of a 3 or 5 step drop. There's 9-11 men out of 22 engaged in the trenches. There's half the NFL Salary Cap tied up in there. People bitch 'football sucks its not violent enough anymore' because these fucks complaining aren't even watching the all out brawl in the trenches ever. If you're staring at the ball in QBs hands, then yes football sucks if that's what you're seeing for 3 hours.

Eric Dickerson is the greatest running back in NFL history to me . Just so stylist of a runner I have ever seen . But I do remember Washington Redskins Darrell Green running Eric Dickerson down from behind, but that was Darrell Green, the fastest players maybe of all-time. Bob Hayes who I believe is the fastest players in NFL history, and no one ever ran Bob Hayes down... from behind . The original #22 and I'm not talking about Emmit Smith .

Oh he was the truth the same as I believe with Oklahoma Sooners Marcus Depree at the time, who became the biggest bust along with 2 time Heiseman Thropy winner out of Ohio State Buckeyes running back #45 Archie Griffin . Sometime players just ended up in the wrong situations or teams and it just doesn't work out for a few great Collegiate players . Here's a few, Mike Dozier Nebraska Cornhuskers ! Sorry I got too stop right here . Sorry !
