BREW2L screw mark p I could have done a KZbin build on my car easily suspension fuel system engine turbo kit t56 etc plus all the wiring plumbing whatever, it took me 9 months. You're right about the fenders. I have an 89 and had to get a Cervinis kit specific to my 89 (pre 91 kit). They mad kits for both.

I'd drive a Fobra all day. Yes the front of the fenders are angled on the 91-93's. I was always told it was for the larger tires as they went to 16 inch rims. I put 245/45/17's on my 90 GT and scrub a dub dub!!!

The real cobra 🐍 Fox 🦊 body Mustang is the ultimate to me. If I still had my 87 GT now l would be prone to turn it into a Cobra 🐍 clone also. But I would use all Genuine Ford parts as much as I could.

I turned my 87 GT into a similar clone, 96 cobra paint code, kept the GT side shirts because it is NOT a cobra.

OK so either I missed the part about when the tail lights are being swapped out. Or you're not going to do that. So it's not a fake cobra it's a bunch of body kit and a different spoiler to give it a different appearance. I would change the tail lights. To the 83 GT/ 93 cobra style. I wish to do that an my 92 GT. So the 93 cars did not have forged pistons, they were hypereutectic. So a good shape low km GT with taillights, spoiler, and rear disc swap isn't really any worse that a similar condition 93 cobra. The cobra would be worth more money 'cause it's original.

People who are /claim to be purists seem to be angered by your nice project here. It is a really good build! So to be "politically correct" your new name in order to be catchy and fresh must; Not contain the word clone. Not contain the word fake. Not contain the word cobra. "Horse with no name", ok I know that's corny. But make it about the cars color, personality, etc. An individualistic car deserves an individualistic name:)

Im going with that body kit as well on my 89 but leaving the lx spoiler to me it looks better as low profile. There's nothing wrong with the spoiler just my preference. It will look good in that color BTW. I'm going with a brandywine candy red

Your body kit is not working with the fenders you have now because in 91-93 the foxes have bigger wheel openings due to the wheel size upgrade in these years. Goin up to 16"( pony wheels) on the GTs.

Not a fan of the title, most 1993 cobras are stock and boring. They all look the same red or black, sometimes teal. I get them all the time why did you do this or that, matching number dorks don't even own a mustang most of the time.

Lmr 5 lug 93 cobra rims is what i would use, you could use 98 dual piston calibers in front and sn95 rearend 4 wheel disc

That's a great tip about the WD40 to remove the side moulding tape. Been debating deleting the side mouldings between the wheelwells that are falling off my '83 Capri build anyway. Definitely gonna give that tip a try.

Looks like a fun project but you need to stop with the Calypso Green. Sure it some bright but its a SISSY Color and not for a good for a Cobra look alike. Your color choice is awful color for a what should be a Muscle Car. Think about it, if it was any good FORD would have used it as a factory Cobra color. You defiantly need to change to the Factory 93 Cobra Teal Met. Car color will look like it should you will turn more head and have much better resale value when you sell it. I dare you to take a pole to see which would win the most votes. Calypso Teal is for Sissy's, you want to build a Sissy Cobra to ahead and waste your money. Time to paint over before it to late so take a vote on paint color.
