Pastor Jimmy and Pastor Douglas go head on the question of pastors living large vs pastors running a ministry as Jesus did. Most pastors often live flamboyant lifestyles and this is often facilitated by the offerings and tithe money they collect from church goers. We have pastors who fundraise to travel for holidays, buy big cars, build lavish homes from their followers yet when either of their members need help with issues such as education and health all they do is pray for members and not give any financial support as would be expected.
We aim to ignite conversations among viewers, encouraging them to share their own experiences, thoughts and engage in productive debates on social media platforms using the hashtag #PastorsBattle. The goal is to educate and open a space for free thinkers on matters Christianity. With the emergence of faske pastors and cults here in Kenya, in the regional sphere and across the globe we feel these debates will lead to better sense of judgement, choices and knowledge sharing.
