I mean, not to get political, but... Homophone is a word. "Each of two or more words having the same pronunciation but different meanings, origins, or spelling, for example new and knew." It would have been cool if they worked that into the bit, but their stuff strikes me as really off the cuff, which is amazing and speaks to how good they are at what they do. Working a grammar joke in on the fly seems like it would be a bit much for anyone, though.
