I am so grateful for this video. Do you know if they ever made this bag with a zippered interior pocket? I have seen them online both without and with it. Now that you say they’re highly counterfeited, I’m a little concerned. Also, if you came across a British tan that was rarely if ever used would you consider 600 an exorbitant price. Thanks.

I will need to dive more into the zipper on the inside. I am not aware of it but can’t say for sure at this time. I hadn’t noticed! As far is what one is willing to pay for a bag, I think that is a personal decision. I wouldn’t pay that price for the Taft but there are bags that I would, and have splurged on. Ones that even need a lot of work. Tafts tend to be higher priced in general. Are you ready to pay that price for the bag? If the answer is no, then wait until either you are or until you find one at a price that you are willing to pay;)

Today I bought a vintage "Coach" bag that I'm still not sure if it really is a "Coach" bag but it's definitely vintage 😂😂😂 That will need lots of love and attention and also a profound internet research 😬🙈 Another vintage from Coach I've been finding crazy amounts of "Made in Korea" it's been the Willis 😬 always loved it but noticed that in the past 2 weeks more and more been popping out for sale, and the prices been going higher even on the fake ones... Wonder if the KZbin videos that were posted in the last month about it had any influence on the influx 😂😂😂 I always loved "old things" and a few of my oldest bags aren't even bags... Or at least not as roomy as the bags became in the past 70 years 😅 yes I truly love my vintage bags, regardless of the brand ptestige or fashion house. I always go for the beauty 😍

@@birdybloom2 its not their fault directly I think, but at least 3 different creators here on YT bought or made videos about rehabilitating the Willis recently, I've been following 2 of them for some time and in a space of a few weeks they all bought/started to talk about the Willis 😁 Suddenly I started to see the prices going higher and been wondering if had to do with them or was just coincidence 😅 I had my eye on the model for a few months, looking for a good deal and suddenly the prices started to go up 🤷🏼‍♀️ One it's from the US "ClassicsWithAQuirk", another its from Australia "Scottilicious MCFabulous" and "LadyEngineerChef" not been following her, so don't know where she lives, just saw her videos about the Willis popping up on my recommendations 🙈

I love your videos. Can you please do a video on how to spot or avoid a fake Taft? PLEASE? I bought THREE and all three times returned because fake. Mabe tell us what to look out for and difference in the fake with the real deal. So thankful for you and what you do you bring much to the table

I will try to look more into it but they often do seem very close to the real deal. I will put more time into figuring it out. I don’t have a fake Taft in hand though :/
