i absolutely LOVE vintage coach bags. I recently got myself a vintage backpack, and i LOVE it! the quality, the craftsmanship, the leather; everything! it's so good, the quality of bags these days don't even match up to these vintage goodies! i'm currently replacing my existing bags to all vintage coach bags, and there's no turning back! i'm a bit late to the party, and I've been reading the comments section of how many have been getting their bags at a price steal. It's 2021 one now, and from where I'm at, the value of vintage coach bags have already begun picking up momentum and have been really pricey in local markets. i was lucky to have gotten that backpack at a really low price compared to the other highly-priced ones. but that won't be stopping me!

I have the same Penny bag! Mine is brown. I got it at the Goodwill bins for $2.00! It’s my favorite vintage style as well.

I was in a thrift store searching for a simple black bag and some time after purchasing it, I realized it is a Coach bag. It’s like the brown one that doesn’t have a removable strap (just that mine is black). So simple but beautiful and timeless 😍

I found this on a blog... The serial number can be decided on any Coach bag made from 1994 on. The 1st letter is the month, in order from A for January, all the way through M for December, skipping I for clarity because I was too easy to mistake for 1. The second number is the year the bag was made, 4 for 1994, 3 for 2003, and 04 for 2004, with double numbers being used for every year after 2004.

I had NO idea the 9755 pocket penny bags came in different sizes...and the Court bag I originally purchased in 1990 did not have an adjustable strap.

That 9755 is called Dinky & is selling for about $300 on Coach website. They have a new version as well for the same price.

You can get vintage coach bags from thrift stores if you're lucky. My mom purchased several from thrift stores.

When the bags were made in ny the numbers were unique to the bag and I could register the bag. Yes, the prices have gone sky high .its the processing and the quality of leather that makes it last .

How to authentic ANY Coach bag, go to Google image and type in COACH the after the word Coach type in the Creed number. You will see the bag. Imo the bags made in Costa Rica are the best.

@@thelucyspace I've just been collecting vintage Coach bags for years and years and have studied the brand, I've even been to the actual Coach museum in Manhattan where every single vintage Coach bag has been made are housed. You can find a copy of every bag ever produced there, not sure if they are adding the newer bags as it's been a few years since I've been there.

I love vintage coach bags. I loaned my favorite bag to my daughter and it got stolen out of her car and I’ve been looking for it and I can’t find it. I think I got it between 2014 and 2016 new at the store. It had a rectangle flat bottom and was a rectangle just open with two handles and on the side of each had a zipper.
