Beautiful and cozy. Gosh we've worked for that long as well but we are not able to afford to have like that for retirement. So if I may advise to my younger self, save and do not spend much on clothes and eating out.

I disagree. My uncle who’s a mechanic invested in real estate and eventually became a millionaire, but stayed true to his roots and led a simple life. No fancy clothes, cooked at home, no expensive vacations. Simpleng buhay.

Siguro naswertehan siya naka bili ng lupa sa mga lugar na mura pa noon at biglang umangat ang prisyo dahil may ginawang highway or may mga tourism or negosyong pumasok sa area. At may nalaman din nga akong driver lang ng San Miguel pero naka bili ng mga mumurahing lupa 80K sa Lapu lapu noong 1970's. Pag pasok ng Shiangrila noong 1990's susmusonod na ibat ibang mga foreign at domestic resorts companies at kasama sa binili yong lupa niya ng 7 million, napakalaking halaga na yon noong 1990's. Ngunit yon ay iilan lamang. Karmihan ay hindi nagkaroon ng ganyang swerte. Just be practical. Kung ikaw ay kumikita ng 50 K a month at nakatira Maynila eh paano ka ba maka ipon ng milyones. Maliban lang kung ikaw ay abogado average income 250 K a month, ganon din Doctor, Engineers etc. Pero kung ordinaryong clerk or trabahante ka lang kahit galonggong lang kakainin mo di ka pa rin maka ipon ng milliones.

Based on the finish, I estimate it will be around ₱50k/sqm…but that’s just me, suggest you show the video to a professional. Logistics cost might be a bit higher since your location needs ferry access.
