Kayaking along the Amalfi Coast in February with my dog, exploring the markets in Ercolano and Resina, ordering chickens and picking spinach. Just a normal week in Positano in February.

The markets in Ercolano close at 1300. You can go there by train from Sorrento.
In Colli di Fontanelle we had lunch at La Stelluccia, saw horses and chickens at the Agriturismo Piccolo Paradiso which you can stay at too: piccoloparadiso....
The walk we did starts at Parco dei Principi but is hard to explain how to find (you need to cut through the castle grounds to find the start.)

This is fast becoming part of my Sunday slide into the start of a new week. I'm loving the transition with the still of the house and the 80s sitcom mood-- makes me smile every time. I think on your translation that might have been & an second watching this a revelation of how fascinating your book will be when it is published came to me.... I married a Brit after being proposed to by an Italian many years ago....so have a giggle on that one Nicki...our marriage "lasted" 30 yrs and he is still as obstinate but apparently doesn't get away with it so much in 2nd marriage.....I am sorry but I just had to tell you how truly entertaining these are for me even afterwards. Holy Cow, that's quite steep and complicated for swimming. Here in Helsinki I can go to the swimming hall next door and pay 6.70 € for one-time fee, or get serial card for 10 times for 62 € or pay monthly for 1, 3, or 6 months and go swimming daily.

The nettles have more nutritional value than the spinach. They are probably the most nutritionally dense green veg there is.
