I think i know of what might just be a tailor made lens for toy photography. 85mm tilt/shift macro lens. The amount of control you have over your focus is incredible. Nikon makes an 85T/S lens. And I know there are some 3rd party 100mm T/S macro lenses out there but not aure about other brands. But if you're shooting mirrorless you can adapt the nikon to any camera I believe. Its manual focus only so adapt away.

Yeah! I've seen some tilt shift lens before! I think it was before I was into toy photography, so I need to check them out again.

Hello Master Matt: Please help and give me some advice, The camera I am currently using is Canon EOS R10, The kit lens used with it is (RF-S18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM) My main subject matter is toy photography. The secondary shooting content is street photography or portrait photos. Now I want to buy new lenses, after watching your video, Want to compare between Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM and RF85mm F2 Macro IS STM After making a choice, I would like to ask you to give me some advice on which lens is more suitable for me? Thank you.🙏

Unfortunately I have never used an 85mm. But I think if it’s between the two and it’s your first lens besides kit lens, I would choose the 50mm. For toy photography, that’s a popular choice and from looking into street photography a little bit, I feel like it’s popular for that too. For sure the 50mm is going to be great with portraits, well I guess they both are. Also, I’ve seen a handful of people prefer the 100mm macro when having both the 85 and 100. I don’t think you could go wrong with either and not that expensive, but those are my thoughts! Let me know if it helps🙌🏼

Affordable can mean different things, but the Canon M50 MK 2 is a good intro/intermediate camera that isn’t expensive. I have some stuff listed on my Recommended Tools in description.
