I'm not a drummer but I do got a question. Are Acoustic Drums just regular metal drums? Or are they made from wood too like Acoustic guitars? Just trying to learn more on what makes or is an acoustic drum.

@@FusionKushAcoustic drums are made from all different types of woods. The metals on drums are for rims and holding the rims in place so you can tune drums. Different wood will also give you a different tone

I wish I knew about these before buying my e kit. My e kit is good but I prefer playing my acoustic kit. The e kit is smaller and more compact so it's different than playing the larger acoustic kit.

@@mcbrideskoi yes you still have to use electronic cymbals. Maybe it's more cost effective to have an e kit and an acoustic. My e kit is a Roland TD-1. I think I paid 600 dollars for it. It's kick pad accepts double pedals which is cool.

This is actually a really awesome product, especially when you live in a small town and everyone will be able to hear you and your tone is 70% of people is over 78 and complain about every little minute detail. They will complain about noise like this there is actually a law that actually states that police officers will ignore your complaints about noise from certain hours of the day regardless of how loud you get unless there is a baby trying to sleep, if I were to play the drums, I would totally get something like this just to avoid bothering people

This makes me want to put together a makeshift electronic drumset.... VERY cool. Fun fact!! Devo made an electronic drumset back in the 70s using guitar pickups placed under drum practice pads. Way ahead of their time, and wildly talented band. Sadly they're known for only one song. Do yourself a favor and listen to their albums 'Duty Now For The Future', and 'Freedom Of Choice'.
