@Uknowkevn it's a secured savings loan basically you're borrowing your own money. Here's how the pledge loans works. You put up $1,000 in your savings account. They put a hold on $1,000. Then they loan you $1,000. That money is yours to do what you want with. Then each time you make a payment for instance $45 they'll knock $45 off that hold and then a couple days later you'll see that $45 back in your account

Yes, he paid 90% of it to receive his $3600 back and only have $400 of the loan to pay off with interest. Lenders are able to see a $4000 loan paid 90% and in good standing. In that case, the history of that account isn't strong but the other information on the account could potentially lead a lender to perceive a new account as low risk. That's how it works in theory.

The money will go back to your account once you pay it. I would say start at 1,000 to really see any effects on your credit I would do 2 and put a big chunk in both like 2k each

Navy looks at your debt to income ratio as well, so if you get a check, but you spend most of it every month they look at it as you can’t afford a loan.

Here's how the pledge loan works. You put $250 in your savings account Navy Federal put a hold on $250 then loans you $250 so you get your money back right away. Then each time you make a payment for instance $25 they'll knock $25 off that hold and couple of days later you'll see that $25 back in your account

You have to go for it they’re not just handing it out. Start with a pledge loan and see if you prequalify for a cc. Even their secured card helps a lot! If you do secured try to put down at least 1k but the more the better.
