Vantage west connect rewards is the best 5x card but i think you can only get it in Arizona but the your choice 5x category is awesome costco and Amazon and restaurants are categories just to name a few

Citi doesn't get the spotlight because it doesn't advertise through affiliates and their bonuses are rare. but their earn rates are insane. If Citi could get AA exclusive... that might be more valuable then Chase Hyatt

Affiliate programs are key. People really only focus on the cards that pay and that's Chase/Amex. Citi is almost a sleeper

I would include the US Bank Altitude in a cash back setup, and blame Stan the Credit Frog for explaining how to get 4.5% back on mobile purchases (when redeemed for a mobile travel purchase).

What's happening, Mr. RJ? I wanted to ask about any information that you may potentially have about the Charles Schwab checking account. I applied for it online and in branch last month and was denied due to a negative Equifax report. I have attempted to clean my credit by paying off 3 of my past due collections in full. Any suggestions on how I can potentially get my denial overturned? Keep up with the banger videos!!!

Interesting that they cared about EQ for a deposit product. Usually it's Chex or EWS. I'd say time is the best move would be to apply again in branch. I don't know how far back they're looking. Maybe try again in 3-6 months from the date you got it all cleaned up.

If you're not after any more chase cards for the 5/24 rule then I'd keep going. Citi seems stricter these days so it's a good pickup before those new accounts report in.

Here’s to hoping Citi doesn’t drop the ball on the new Citi Prestige design like they did on the Strata Premier. I think they need to revamp the Strata Premier design sooner and release a metal card for the BS subpar release a few weeks ago! I’ve looked into the AAA card which was through Comenity, now the application link takes you to US Bank instead I missed out on the Comenity one easier approval!
