I got laid off 5 months ago. On unemployment. Ex moved out. Etc. I’m handling it though. Lease ends this month. Once I find a job it will get better.

I was laid off in Dec 2012. I worked temp jobs until spring 2015. You know, 2 weeks here followed by a month of nothing, it was horrible. Thank goodness for friends and an angel that sent me $100 in the mail every once in a while. I even worked in a friend's yard for several days in 90 degree heat. I've had the same job since April 2015. Every day I'm thankful for my job!

I suffered with severe depression in 2014 and everything Dave said about hopeless is exactly how I felt when I was ill. Depression is darkness and I lost my vision of a better happy life. Now in 2018 I'm recovered, happy and positive. The depression gave me strength. Thank you for all the work you do Mr Ramsey god bless you sir

I just read about the creator of flamin hot Cheetos. He was a janitor at frito lay now he’s vp of Pepsi co. He said there’s no such thing as a “just a” janitor or “just a” this. that was really inspiring too. You can work your way to your goals!

I'm hoping for Mr .Dave to see this question: Why do we earn a lot of money knowing we would die without it ? What is the purpose or doing so ? Well of course we need money to survive in the current world but why do people still go for More money when they are already financial independent ? Being a 19 year old , I'm questioning life .

Because money is something that a lot of people simply want. It's just like wanting anything else. With that being said it's not like you can take your good memories with you when you die. When you die that's it. It doesn't matter what you do when you're alive. I hope this was helpful or insightful in some way.
