I randomly picked this message - looking for some inspiration and motivation during this time. Before Covid19, I had often found myself feeling insignificant and wondering what my purpose is, and during the heart of lockdown I was incredibly depressed at what was happening to this world. But lately I have found myself finding a meaning in standing against injustice. I have never been in support of lockdowns/quarantines, or whatever you want to call it, which forced people to be prisoners in their own home, kept loved ones from seeing each other and fueled a basis for corruption, control and abuse that has run rampant in our world like never before. I come from South Africa, which has history of being an oppressive nation, where Apartheid was labelled a Crime Against Humanity. But I have watched as a government, who says it is for the people, do to it's people what the Apartheid government did - only this time it was not to a particular race and down under the grounds of "it's for your own protection". And most outrageous line people who are accepting of the Covid19 regulations say, is: "At least its not only our land that is going through this!". I don't take comfort in the fact that just because everyone is doing something, it makes it right. When I listen to this message - I begin to wonder has God put me on this planet to be someone who takes a stand against what my spirit tells me is wrong (as I have never been at ease from the start of these lockdowns). Am I supposed to be light to all those who have been blinded by the media's fear mongering, statistics which have been manipulated and political agendas which serve to control people? Or do I just keep quiet, and carrying doing what my spirit is uneasy doing, so that I conform to this world? We are called to be a light to the world and not to be afraid - but it saddens me how so many have been gripped by fear from the propaganda that is being fed day in and day out regarding Covid19. By the world's standards, I am a nobody, and insignificant person who will probably never find fame or probably even greatness. But I can influence some people that come in proximity to me and I take comfort in standing against the lockdowns and showing people that you don't need to put your faith in a mask or be afraid of a virus. Using Erwin's words "When you begin to act on what you know you must do!" On an aside - When Erwin mentions that "The resources that you actually need are not material resources but human resources." They are the people that God's surrounds you with... how sad is it that main stream media and government policies have caused social distancing to become a norm which causes people to avoid each other...

I always compared myself to others, can’t evict that it is getting more frustrating. Now I start realising and decided to fast and pray. I asked for a breakthrough on my characters and stepping up from what I do have not what I do not owned in talents nor skills. Lord, I asked for your strength because the world’s standard going to temporary and change so I want to be like you. I believe in you in spirit and truth, despite the potential sayings from others, speak to me, your power and I am one step closer on the path to inner peace, in my inner heart and your holy spirit. Thank you, Eric and Kim for you, I remember I attended Hillsong conference in 2016, and hearing from you first time, and followed you ever since.

Thank you Erwin McManus for this wonderful message and leadership training. I took lots of notes. I haven't been listening to you for some time now, and this morning God reminded me of your name. A couple of hours later I opened KZbin and saw this video as the first on my page. I decided to watch it and I am so glad i did!
