Since the last couple of years my workflow is exactly that: I let inspiration flow and I record improvisations and turn some of them into "tracks". I find that I am producing something much better and "alive" with this method. Will the market like it? I don't care too much. It's all about expression. Thanks for inspiring others to do the same. Let's bring back being humans.

Thank you for the vulnerability. That’s true courage. Not trying to impress but being your authentic self. We are all insecure. Some of us are brave enough to say so.

Your performance video was one of the best raw & emotional performances I've seen in the KZbin Synth Community. Started the video right when I went to bed with headphones. It was a great moment!

“I did it for myself, making music my own way”. This. This is everything. Thank you for yet another deeply thoughtful and honest perspective on this strange, magical and frequently frustrating process we call making music. My challenge is I don’t yet know what my own style is. The problem is I love so many different styles of music and haven’t yet worked out my own voice. Not helped by the fact that health issues mean I struggle to play the instruments I grew up with and I’m in the process of moving into synths, samples and electronic music as an alternative to jamming with friends on the instruments I’ve played for 40+ years. Your words are wise and inspiring as always.

awesome message.......................I've always found something very distinctive and identifiable about the majority of what I've found on your channel.............those outside voices, no matter what they say (good or bad) are never important when it comes to creating one's art...........an ongoing process that's more personal than almost anything else we do.................

It really felt you were in your 'zone' that last video. You could just sense it. And don't worry too much about timely delivery of videos. I'd rather have a few less videos that are true, honest and inspiring, than more videos that are there 'just because it is expected of you'.

big man strugling. the emptines that you seek to cover up is time that is needed to practise to play music. Are you playing it here? no. Are you playing it in general? no. You think about music like a photographer - thats your problem. and you try to do your music like a photographer. you try to distribute your musical ideas via hardware but not to play music. you like deep - so think about what is the difference between musical ideas and music. FYi - it is hard to watch how you strugle all the time.
