Also completely agree re: breeder goals and "where do we go from here when we get 100% red?" Same issue with chahoua- everyone is chasing the white coverage. But there is SO much more than that to work with. Imo work with what YOU are passionate about. Show the market why it should pay attention.

I'm curious about gargs being female-heavy in general... it makes me wonder if the guess about males bringing more to the table has any weight genetically. I would be curious to hear from other garg breeders about this! In terms of chahoua, which are my specialty, usually the high white collar animals are female. We really need some more scientific looks into these things because they could help inform us how we pair and further our projects!

Fabulous . Them beetle pics too ! I like bugs 😁 have you seen the phantom eye gargs . Is that ok for them ? . They don’t go blind do they ?

I have seen Phantom eye gars. They are cool and I do not believe they have any sight problems. Some gargs get a phatom looking eye due to an eye injury, but that is different.
