Whewww!,Thank you for making it plain. I felt led to fast for 3 days and just yesterday I was beating myself up because I gave in to my hunger on day 1 and broke my fast 4 hours before my cut off time. I spent the whole day beating myself when I was wanted to complain about being hungry or when I was craving., when I started getting frustrated and yelled at my kids. Everything. And I know it’s about more than the food, it’s the assignment. Please pray for me as I try again today. I’m so thankful for God’s Grace and the E for effort :)

Sis, its interesting you should say this I discovered the book in Compass Resource called, "The Power of Prayer and Fasting: 21 Days That Can Change Your Life" by Marilyn Hickey. I was pleasantly surprised that given up a meal is considered a fast. Check it the book on Amazon.
