Getting my thirty is my motto now thank you. I've been almost 3months consistent next week. It's my lifestyle now, I stopped weighting myself. I feel better and that's all that matters. I'm a better wife, mother, friend, daughter and neighbor.

Love this talk and the positive emotion that the speaker conveys! I would say you need a box of self care tools (and adapt to what brings you joy): listening to music, singing, dance, yoga, yoga nidra, meditation, body scans, all type of sports that you enjoy, journaling, forest bathing, hiking and so much more. Everything that brings you from your head into your body and/or connects you spiritually. At least 30 min per day.
@stanlawfitness8272 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! A box of self care tools is an awesome idea. The mind and body connection is everything and you nailed it when you said "connecting you spiritually". I appreciate the feedback !

I agree with his speech self care in many ways is very important :) I don't know who needs to hear this though but, it's ok to feel down sometimes, it's ok if you don't feel good today. Not every day has to be an amazing motivated day- life is a bumpy ride!
@stanlawfitness8272 жыл бұрын
Well said! It’s a bumpy ride and it’s ok to not be ok. Try to take care of yourself the best that you can every day!! 👊💪

Even if not everyday, I was getting my 30 every other day for the last two weeks. And this week, I got so stressed I just couldn't. I've been depressed for many years and dealing with all kinds of self care and self harm problems. And last week I harmed myself with lots of binge episodes. And I couldn't even find the strength or focus to cut my nails. Than it hit me. For me, exercise has been a method of self care. And the reason I ditched it for a whole week was not that I'm lazy or a lost cause. It's exactly because it's a form of self care and along with every other step of self care I had a hard time getting it.
