Very glad to see you covering this, Nick. Page 46 of "John Coltrane, His Life and Music" by Lewis Porter. Check out the phrase labeled "c". First time starts on the 2nd beat. Second time, the & of 3. Third time, the & of 1. The fact that He was doin this in1946 blows me away. Very glad to see you covering this! Thanks!

Great! I started doing this a while ago and have found it very helpful. To take it to the next level I play the line as triplets and 16ths as well, displacing along each of those subdivisions. Thanks Nick!
