FYI the beauty standard is this golden brown middle tone and you get dark-skinned people discriminated against for their skin so they're encouraged to, or may want to lighten their skin because of it. Which is not right, all skin tones are beautiful. Equally, very pale skin tones in some cultures are considered undesirable but less so than darker skin tones making fake tan less controversial. Everyone should be able to feel confident in their own skin but obviously if you want to change it, no-one's gonna stop you

I CAN FINALLY CONFORM TO THE RIDICULOUS KOREAN BEAUTY STANDARDS OMG! edit: I personally find white pale skin beautiful, I'm tanned myself. I'm not racist, it's just a preference which is subject to change depending on who I'm looking at. The important thing is regardless of color of skin, everyoen can look beautiful so long as they're striving to the best version of themselves, healthy and so on. However, Korea is a looks based society and everyone knows this. You will be discriminated based off how you look and unfortunatly hacks like this with the rice water are for that reason attractive to many because of Korea's specific societal pressures. Fun fact: Double eye-lid surgury is a common graduation gift from parents to their children for when they finish highschool in Korea.

Thats rice beer and tribals from Northeast India also make this. Traditional one is white made with normal rice and the other one little bit expensive one is made fron sticky rice and the other one is transparent which has more achohol in it as its made through distillation process.

No because literally after I ran out of my rice face lotion my skincare routine wasn’t working as good, completely sold out at the time too, literally bought two cases once it was back in stock came in a few days ago and my face was way smoother and not breaking out as much and way better in literally a day!😭😭 if There’s anything NEEDED in my skincare it’s the rice lotion 👏

Moisturizing cream , RICE from ceramide , you should see a paddy picture next to it ( wheat looking plant of grown rice) . Note I have more of a normal skin type so this mainly helps me with breakouts or to protect my skin during climate changes bc that’s when I break out if the air quality worsens or if the climate changes

He made it to drink, but because he's using his hands to do the work, it's having an effect on the skin. He's showing how powerful rice is for skincare.
