it definitely has a effect on ones mind/body matrix, i think its like the quantum realm, when we go into that state then things happen to our neurons that we can't explain using just chemical interactions alone, the more you do it the better your brain functions as the connections seem to reset ( much like some mushrooms for instance Lions Mane or Psilocybin ) they do, like meditation does, begin to realign the brain cells and their connections ( see click test ) where subjects have to rapidly click a mouse button, this motor skill usually decreases with age but after Stamets Stack ( B3 vitamin, Lions Mane, and Psilocybin ) the people on the test improved by about 50 percent. Similar results with meditation, the speed of neurons signalling pathways increases as seen with MRI scans and the distribution of the signals fire in more parts of the brain normally absent in everyday consciousness.
