The Grotto in the center of Mater Dei's campus is truly a special place. Home to our Patroness, Mary Mater Dei, the Grotto has served as a spot of inspiration, motivation, and reflection for 65 years. Through her internship with the LA Times High School Insider, Senior Isabella Balandran '16 captures the very essence of Mater Dei.
