I used to main Robin, but found his mix-up potential to be pretty poor - either begin a string which has a low or go for the swoop, which if either are read led to a full combo punish, not to mention him being unsafe with 90% of his strings unless you cancel into the sword dance and MB it. Did I just miss something really obvious with him?

poiesdon I main him because of how quick he is and his range. You can also use his trait with the explosive birdarang and make the opp guess overhead or low

poiesdon he just takes commitment. The fact that everything can be punished is the best part for me. Takes strategy and he's great for pressure.

Rose Gld I found that after his 212 cancel into the remote birdarang into calling the birdarang into throw was his main pressure tool, because the swoop and everything else could be very easily countered by a good anti-air and such. I've been thinking of picking him up again because of this, do you have any advice for maintaining pressure?

KadzTurkz Huh, that's actually really good! What do you do when your trait is on cooldown? Do you just block as best you can and use his strings with the longest active frames till it's back?

No offense to dedicated Flash mains but Flash has unreactable 50/50’s and set-ups, doubled with GOD tier damage. The character sometimes looks downright disgusting.

All it takes is one mistake, and then you eat 400 damage plus have to guess through an oki set up. Not to mention Flash having an excellent forward dash.You know, for closing in.And decent counter zoning tools.

Ghost 1 All of his combos can be executed after some time on practice mode on a normal Dualshock controller, except his RMS cancel version of trait combos.

Epic Eshaan I also main firestorm and can tell you that he’s the best in the game. He doesn’t have many but Superman is bad for him, because Superman’s f2 3 string firestorm doesn’t that have any good answers for that. Also surprisingly cyborg can possibly be a bad matchup because he is a character that is hardly ever on the ground, making it hard for firestorm because he doesn’t have the greatest anti airs and also he relies on random molten traps on people walking the floor. Also, you could probably say dr fate is bad for obvious reasons. I never really had any problems with Harley but I can see how. My advice is probably use Superman who can outzone him, and also beat him up close with his f2 3 frame trap

To everyone out there I have a legit question, why does it feel like Robin is safe on everything? I know he obviously isn't, but it seems like his pressure is never ending. I try to poke out through where it seems like where a hole would be but u get hit. Why is that?

If it helps you could d1 robins 212 string after the first hit it kinda tricky and the d1 need to be atleast 6 frames and when blocking you need to press d1 again in the gap between the 1st to 2nd hit of the 212 I learned this on a stream honeybee did
