I was curious and translated "badass" to russian to see what this comment would mean to russian viewers, and google says "bully". They probably think we hate this guy now lol. Apparently, the best match for "badass" in russian is "сорвиголова" - somebody who boldly ignores dangers and perils, easily risks his own life

+D Shields That's not a very appropriate word either. It usually has a slightly negative meaning. I would translate "This guy is badass" as "Этот чувак крут". or "рулит"... "жжот". Don't trust google with colloquial expressions, it can't even get formal speech right. :)

I know google translate is flawed, I'm just pointing out what google says because many people will use it and get the wrong idea. Does сорвиголова mean "daredevil"? If so, that's close enough single word replacement, even if it doesn't haven the same positive connotation "badass" has.

Holy Christ... When whether these drivers ask "you have a car" they mean absolutely another. Driver's solidarity, they hope for understanding of their situation. If if you have a car you in the same way face a parking problem, on the fact that in the large cities of Russia there are catastrophically not enough parking spaces. It is of course not an occasion to violate rules. But violators always minority.

And for transporting your own ass, public transportation is fine. It's ego, isn't it? I've got a machine, so I'm the king. I'm too good for public transportation. No wonder you have a city where you can't find a spot to park. And given their disgustingly swollen ego, instead of adapting to the situation within the rules, these drivers just break the rules and endanger the lives of pedestrians or cause traffic jams to their fellow drivers. Years ago I took the hazard lights a few stages further I used to lift up the hood and remove the fuse for the ignition then go do my business without paying for a parking ticket then come back and have a chat with the parking warden who felt bad becuase my car had 'broken down' and I could prove it since there was no ignition fuse so the starter would just turn...
