Great story. I'm a huge Phish phan myself. I also volunteer at St. Jude's Children Hospital in Memphis. I have witnessed far too many families visualize their children's recoveries only to lose their to cancer. Great story, though.

Slappy GetRight...Every single family I got to know moved me and inspired me. All I'm saying is, no matter how hard they visualized or prayed for their child's good health, no matter how wonderful they are as human beings, sometimes things just don't work out. I'm not intending to be harsh. It's just life.

Shawn Simmons ... absolutely, but the power of belief is a personal thing. I guessing most of those parents knew the inevitable, but the power of belief and being somewhat spiritual probably helped a lot of them make it through to be strong for their children in those last moments. It’s all about being strong for children no matter what.
