I'm three years late but, may I suggest you could turn the "Lowpass" of your voiceover down a bit. which would reduce the big echoey sounds while you're saying syllables like "s"? I just noticed it but it's not much, would probably be a bit easier on the ears while listening. Thanks for the helpful lesson!

I understand how to use this rule, but whats the reason that taking down the exponent and multiplying by it reflects the amount of change while the integral reflects the rate of change. It just seems arbitrary. Like if you had x^10, why does multipling by 10 and reducing the exponent mean its the amount of change rather than its rate? It just seems so arbitrary. A mathematics stack exchanger used an analogy that if a square with one leg measuring x is increased by size n, (x )^(2) → (2x). Meaning a 5 x 5 square going to 7 x 7 would go from 25 to 49 cm^2, and the amount of change would be 24, but this equation would calculate it as 10 + 10 = 20. The two added "slim rectangles" are accounted for, but the "small square" at the corner of the added size is not because its considered too geometrically small to matter. So basically its an approximation. Is this right?

What is the derivative of d/dx [x + a]?
@JKMath2 жыл бұрын
Depends. If "a" is a constant, then the derivative is just 1, since the derivative of x is 1, and the derivative of a constant is 0. However if "a" is another variable, then this would require the chain rule, similar to implicit differentiation techniques. So you would have 1 + da/dx assuming that "a" is a function that is differentiable with respect to x. Hope this helps!
