I liked the fact the admirals seem to have their own opinions on the situations they’re sent to. When Kuma flies away, Akainu is just left pondering why he still has a will to do something despite being a “puppet”. Kizaru keeps alluding to his lack of desire to carry out his mission. I think Luffy, being Luffy, will make him question his allegiance by simply asking, “why would you do something you don’t want to do?”

I don't think Kizaru is so flippant that a question like that, or even Luffy himself, could shake his sense of duty. Fujitora is one thing, but Kizaru has been shown to do dirty stuff he disagrees with. In fact, Kizaru disagrees with pretty much every single thing we've seen him been ordered to do this entire manga. And from a writing standpoint, we already had Aokiji leave the Marines because he disagreed. To do it again with Kizaru would not only hurt the power of the Marines, thus their validity, but it'd be redundant.

Throughout chapter 1092 you have Akainu and Kizaru seeming to introspect about their roles more than we’ve seen them do ever before - with Akainu, we see one world govt puppet who’s still got his brain try to take on a literal world govt puppet in Kuma, who exercises more autonomy and free will than the fleet admiral. Kizaru has more connections to people on egghead than elsewhere that we’ve seen so it makes sense for this to be a pivotal point in his character. As for Aokiji and Fujitora, I think those are the only two admirals that will ever fully turn on the world govt, but I think there’s a reason soda has made the distinction between Fujitora/Aokiji then Akainu/Kizaru who all contrast Green bull, who doesn’t question the WG at all.

I'm thinking the the admirals are going to fight alongside luffy against the celestial dragons and imu. The admirals are almost definitely going to die, and Koby is going to be the one to who picks up the pieces of the marines after the world order crumbles. But the celestial dragons and imu a more than likely going to be overwhelmingly stupidly bustedly strong as fuck. They're definitely going to completely fuck up the power scaling, so much so that all of the previous strongest people in the world are probably going to get mopped. Then luffy finds the one piece, which will probably help him win after another timeskip

Kizaru's Unclear Justice I think should be called Blurred Justice. Kizaru obviously doesn't want to do this mission but he does anyway. He has allowed the system to bind him and make him a loyal employee. His feelings, his freedom, his desires, all are bound up and replaced with an external facade. It reminds me of Katakuri Katakuri had a facade that due to his fight with Luffy he tossed aside, he bound himself to his family and their expectations of him, but little by little Luffy helped him remove those chains with only one remaining before their parting: "Are you going to come back and take down Big Mom someday?" For Luffy to be a Sun God and the Warrior of Liberation he will free the Light itself, making it no longer a government tool.

I think you misunderstood what happened to Kuma. Once he got up the red line he seems to be trying to run past mary geoise and fly from the other side. After escaping Sakasuki he actually does that. His devilfruit allows him to quickly travel all over the world, but probably not past the red line so he had to climp up to get to the other side.

My thoughts & opinions of the chapter: 1. If Akainu kills Kuma, then wouldn't this be a better reason for Sabo to face him?! 2. When learning that the Giant Robot began to activate the moment Luffy used Gear 5th, it reminded me of other series involving giant robots where supernatural phenomenons happen during the time of their introductions. Now I wonder if Oda intends to use that trope however he can. 3. Assuming Luffy's heartbeat is truly the power source for the giant robot, does this mean he will end up becoming the source some of the potential upgrades that the other Strawhats & his allies may need in the future? For example, instead of running entirely on Cola, the Thousand Sunny could eventually run on the Drums of Liberation!

I have a theory for what might be dragons fruit. We saw that during the fight with kaido luffy uses bajrang gun that is a depiction of hindu god hanuman. In Hinduism, the father of Hanuman is known as the God of air and Hanuman is also called Pawan Putra (The son of air). Also we saw that dragon uses some mysterious power in logue town that resembles air. Thus the fruit of dragon might be the air air fruit

Nami uses air pressure with her Climatact to make thunder balls and rain, make sense an air air fruit user could also use the air to make storm clouds. That would be an extremely useful devil fruit because no calm belt would stop you, you could outrun your enemies while pushing them back away from you with different air currents, and you could always summon a hurricane to destroy anyone who came too close. Also could really mess with say someone who turns into smoke, because if you're stronger then you could theoretically blow them into individual molecules making them useless in a fight if they can't stay in a tangible form.

I've heard yesterday a theory on MangaQ channel that made a lot of sense regarding the previous ancient robot invasion in Mary Geoise. It was around the same time as fishman rights movement, and the robot possible was awake by/using the tamatebako treasure. It is noteworthy that the "steroids" that the new fish man pirates took transformed them into something akin to the mink's sulong and the drawback is a lot similar to what Luffy becomes when gear 5th wears off.

I know everyone was excited to see Luffy vs Kizaru but the stuff with Kuma was waaaaay more interesting in this chapter, IMO. I actually heard a great theory that Kuma and Akainu actually have more history than we thought because Oda is having the pre-timeskip admirals go up against people they care about. First Aokiji vs. Garp, then Borsalino is tasked with killing Vegapunk. It would follow the pattern if Sakazuki had to fight Kuma, who was a friend of his. And Kuma's totally going to Egghead! Prediction: The giant robot will launch the Sunny towards Elbaf. Or it will be Kuma using his fruit before he dies.

I like that idea. Maybe Kuma once enlisted with the Marines after being the "Tyrant" over Sorbet Kingdom but was dethroned in his late teens, and Akainu was his captain or something being 10 years older when Kuma was 20 or so. Kuma has Bonney 24 years ago when he was 21 or so which could have triggered him to leave the Marines(or spy on them), which then 22 years ago when he was 23 or so led to the creation of the Revolutionary Army with Dragon and Ivankov. It does kinda line up, just need more info on the timeline that Bonney now knows. But Kuma himself, Dragon, Ivankov, Vegapunk, and others also might know the full story too and most of them are on Egghead or seem to be headed that way.

About kuma, Arthur u r missing a big point:- Kuma's incident is happening one day BEFORE the current events (page 3, TCB Scans, top right corner: "One day ago at Mary geoise"). So his stuff was set off even before the whole luffy awakening stuff. If it was also due to awakening on the previous day while fighting Lucci, then it should have also happened while fighting Kaido. So it's more likely that Kuma got triggered when Bonney accessed his Paw Paw power ball thing, possibly some anti-daughter mechanism? We do see Bonney is very much relaxed now, and Akainu's flashbacks show how she was insisting her dad would never leave her. So this seems more likely to me that he got triggered by whatever Bonney saw or did.

I've been saying this since we found out it was Kizaru coming, Luffy is about to upgrade his Observation Haki fighting a man who can move at nearly the speed of light(and is why he had that red lined "spidey sense" when he felt someone coming from below). It would also make sense for Luffy to upgrade it, because I'm sure a light man can blind his opponents leading to Luffy not only needing to see whats about to happen but get more specific views of what is happening without using his eyes for anything. I'm a little worried we might end up in Matrix territory with someone being blinded for an extended period of time, which would suck if it's a Straw Hat, though I guess Franky could just swap his eyes out and Brook has no eyes because he's you know, a SKELETON.😂😂😂

Kizaru is "lazy justice" and seems aloof but he did move extremely fast at times in Sabaody and Marineford, Rayleigh seemed to the the only one to actually keep up with him at either and it seemed like Kizaru wasn't being serious in their little clash. He seemed more focused at Marineford, but I get the feeling there is still more to him for Vegapunk or Kuma to reveal.

I don't think Kuma's goal was the Holyland at all, he is really going to the New World, the fact that he can't push himself up the Redline is precisely why he had to climb up to the Holyland in the first place, once he got up there he can push himself into the New World (once he's free from his pursuers). The Ancient mech might be responding to Kuma's arrival (took him a day to get here) instead of Nika, explaining why the mech wasn't activated by Nika back in the Lucci fight.

Yes, we must consider the detail that Kuma climbed up there just like the ancient robot did 200 years ago. Coincidence? I think not. Reaching further, I think it is possible that Kuma's memories/will were essentially replaced or modeled after that of the robot, and the end goal after climbing Marijoa is to recover his memories or something. I don't think Luffy's heartbeat woke up the robot, it's not impossible, but I think it's a little unclear what the detail about Kuma climbing the redline like the robot means.

In regards to Kuma and his Paw-paw fruit abilities, I know it seems that he teleports himself/people/things, but if I recall, back when he sent the straw hats to their various destinations, they flew. So it's my belief he didn't "teleport" to Mariejois due to its elevation, and wherever he's headed is on the other side of the Red line, this why he teleported midway through fighting Akainu. @@KetoCommander idk I thought on reverse mountain when they left Loguetown and when they got over to the Lighthouse that there was wind on either side, and I assume near Red Port under Marie Jois there is wind if so many people come and go from there. I was more just getting at its height being an obstacle maybe? Maybe he knows he'll kill most on the landing if they fall from the peak of the trajectory it would take to go over the Red Line from one side to the other, or there is a distance component we don't know of. Maybe Kuma was just badly wounded and just shot himself in that direction without caring what he hit besides the Red Line and he recalculated the shot as he passed by Akainu. Maybe there is just some other reason entirely as to what he was doing going up there, a place he was just rescued from, and we missed some paw paw shot of someone or something that won't be revealed for a while in this whole Egghead Island arc that is full of mysteries and head games.

@AW73911 I think its because the Redline is simply too tall, Kuma had to climb it to yeet himself again. Its essentially a giant ring around the planet that's probably taller than Mount Everests peak. Thinking back, Kuma's paw paw fruit seemed to send Luffy to Amazon Lily at a way lower height and trajectory than i'd imagine you'd need to overpass something as massive as the Red Line. Really seems to lend to the idea that the red line was made as some sort of artificial landmass purposely made to be a barrier to travelers.

I'm pretty sure Kuma already escaped from Mariejois with his fruit. He is probably headed to Egghead. Now some intresting possibilities are Kuma regaining his memories, or (and this is not my theory I'm just sharing it) him sharing his memories with the world using Punk Records and revealing the truth of the World Goverment to the world (not sure about this theory but I feel like it's worth sharing). Also, I feel like Akainu was kind of also talking about himself when he was talking about Kuma being a puppet.

I think the Revolutionary Army saved Kuma when they attacked and destroyed the crops up there, could be wrong but I thought that was one of the goals of that attack was to free Kuma. I do think that secrets are about to be revealed to the world too. Big News Morgans is on the way with Vivi and Wapol who have secrets, Kuma is on his way to Bonney it seems with secrets, Dragon is on his way with secrets, I'm sure Blackbeard is going to show up in the chaos to execute Garp, and let's not forget when the Straw Hats are first looking around Egghead it mentioned that there was a transponder snail there that could broadcast to every transponder snail at once. So you have the most famous reporter out there on his way to Egghead, which just so happens to have the technology to broadcast to everyone in the world? All inside a place that's wired with security snails to catch conversations?

I remembered it specifically because in most stories random things like that generally are foreshadowing events to come, and as soon as I heard Morgans was headed there the puzzle of what this "incident that will take place in 24 hours on Egghead Island that will change the world" is. My mind assumes the best reporter plus the best tech to live report, equals a hell of a reveal to the world on a secret recorder. And I'm aware this is happening after the Sabo flashback, but you opened your original comment saying Kuma had escaped before using his devil fruit and I don't think he has. He protected the Sunny in Sabaody and then was made a slave for his actions, but he wasn't saved from Marie Jois until Sabos flashback and when they got back to the Kamabakka Kingdom Kuma got up and ran. @@Someaddress555s No I am saying he escaped from Akainu this chapter with his devil fruit. You can see that he used it after Akainu attacked his leg. Sabo saved him the 1st time but he went back and he escaped from Akainu himself the second time after he launched himself on the Redline and started climbing it. I think he climbed over it and passed through Mariejois to get to Egghead.

It does feel like that the Drums of Liberation was kind of the war chant back in Void Century or Joyboy use to really love music and then he compose a song just for his crew Okay! So, we are slowly getting reveals of Joyboy's own crew. Maybe the Giant Ancient Robot was a Franky, and Zunesha was a Chopper. Because after all, Joyboy is a Giant, and the Giant straw hat. Joyboy had his crew like the Straw Hats and then maybe, Imu was also a member of Joyboy BUT somehow Imu starts to feels anger against Joyboy like for some reason that we don't know I'm saying that the Drums of Liberation is a war chant that summons his crew or allies into battle. so a fun idea for why Kuma had to climb the red line (not my idea) is that he wasn't going to the red line in the first place. His powers made him smash into it because it can't go high enough. Then he has to physically climb the wall to use his power again and continue flying. He might have went from grand line to new world, probs to egghead

I think it's possible that Kuma went to Mariejois to get some missing piece for the robot. Since it attacked Mariejois it's possible that some vital piece of it was still there. So maybe Kuma is already on Egghead, he'll show up with the Robot, get his memories back and... well who knows.

Yeah I have been wondering what Akainu would/will do when Imu is exposed as the ruler of the world.
