It's important to be *consistent* in your belief in the inerrant and unchanging god. So his approval and instruction in slavery should be accepted as a moral practice. In *Exodus 21,* your god tells you how to trick your Hebrew slave into staying your slave for life. God tells you that the children of your slaves are also your slaves. He advises on how hard you may beat your slave. (If they survive the thrashing by at least three days, God says it’s all good.) *Leviticus 25:44-46* tells you where to buy your slaves and assures you that you may bequeath your slaves to your children. So my friends, it is clear that slavery is indeed moral. To those who will become slaves, my sympathies, but this IS the word of our Lord.
