Hi , my name is Arlene. I have suffered from depression and anxiety and it seems to be getting worse with me getting older. Never ever be afraid to talk to someone about depression. If you don’t want to talk to your mom at least try talking to a Paster or a therapist to get some of your feelings out. You might feel a lot better. Some times it may take a few sessions to get you to open up and talk to someone about why you feel depressed. If you aren’t sure then just talk to someone about this. It is to hard to understand by yourself and talking does help. Don’t ever give up on yourself because you deserve to be loved and happy just like everyone else. Just keep talking and don’t be surprised if you find someone else with the same problem. Just keep your head up and talk to anyone you feel comfortable with. Good luck and rather you feel like no one loves you, you’re wrong. Don’t ever give up on yourself because that would really destroy your mom. I have never been embarressed when my mom kisses me or hugs me in front of my friends cause I don't care about what they think it is about what my mom thinks and I don't want her to think she is embarressing me. One of my friends actually remarked how lucky I am to have a mother who shows her affection to me, as his mother would never do that outside of their house.More kids need to understand that if your friends make fun of you for showing your love to your parents get rid of those friends cause they are not good friends(None of my friends have ever made fun of me for kissing my mother infront of them)
