The biggest plot twist was that it didn't end bad.

This actually happened a few blocks from where I grew up. 6 months later the real Prank Master ended up going back to that house and abducted both of them. The next few weeks body parts starting showing up all across the city, caused quite a panic. Turns out Prank Master tortured them over the course of a few days slowly chopping them to bits. He started with Brandon, forcing Kevin to watch, knowing he was next. Authorities ended up locating all of Brandon, but only Kevin's head was ever recovered. Currently Prank Master is institutionalized and under heavy sedation. About 15 years ago he had his phone privileges revoked after a Domino's delivery guy ended up getting dismembered in one of the orderlys' break rooms. Soon after that he ended up biting the eye out of a journalist who was going to write a book about him, ever since then he has been on a heavy dose of benzodiazepine.
