No doubt about the experience that i have been through,Odd or miracle event that I wrote in many sites , I am an Arab from State of Qatar this is not my name for personal reasons in the second half of April 2016 , woken suddenly to witness this phenomenon I saw on the ceiling of my room clearly and for period a few seconds it was sufficient the image of the Christ the face clear, appearance is very natural without the presence of things out of the ordinary, the face is a little long white color and beard is normal and the hair of the head lays on top of his shoulders the eyes with beauty and sharp looking and features are wonderful resembles Middle East Caucasians people , image impressed me with complete clarity, I thought at first that he looked like one of my friends to a slight degree, but quickly I felt inspiration jumped to my mind he is the Christ, this what has occurred how to explain no idea,using google as assistance to translate Arabic to English

Tim, I was told St Isaac wrote about the end times. If that is true & you can find what he wrote, it would, no doubt, be edifying for people to be aware of what he, by the grace of God, foretold & to pass it on to their children... so that the generation that's around when those things happen will be forewarned.
@OrthodoxWisdom4 жыл бұрын
I wholeheartedly agree that something from St. Isaac on the end times would be edifying for us all. I briefly tried to find something like this but didn’t find anything. I have a request: since you are strong supporter of my work, and care about the souls of men, can you find some texts that are either not under copyright or are blessed for reproduction from the publisher/author that you would like me to record? It could be on the end times or something else, it could be by a canonized Saint or holy man that has the ethos and veneration of a Saint. If you have the time and interest, I’d love you to find one or more texts along these lines. It could even be a full book or long treatise. Thank you, brother.

St. Isaac the Syrian is also venerated as a Saint in the Catholic Church, especially the Eastern Syrian Catholic Churches. I pray for the Catholic-Orthodox Unity. I have a point to make though, the icon of the saint shown here is writing Greek instead of syrian.
@OrthodoxWisdom4 жыл бұрын
You are correct, but this is probably just an icon of St. Isaac made for a primarily Greek audience. Nothing to be alarmed with
@JU-bz1kn4 жыл бұрын
@@OrthodoxWisdom Okay. What I actually meant without writing was I wanted to know, whether you may be, by any chance, having any such images of St. Issac with syriac or something similar.
@OrthodoxWisdom4 жыл бұрын
I quickly found a couple with what looks like Arabic: images.app.goo.gl/KtEewrNpxR7SPCBz9 images.app.goo.gl/KTYCiodBchfXg6HEA If you search “st Isaac” and then words like “Syriac” or something else you might find something better. Also, use google translate to get his name in the language you want and then search images with “st Isaac icon” but in the non-English language you choose. Sometimes that will give you images you won’t find when searching in English. Hope that helps

I have an honest question, which I asked several times without a satisfactory answer. Isaac the ASSYRIAN ,and not Syrian as he lived in Mesopotamia and not in Syrian, was a Bishop of the Assyrian_- Nestorian church. Typically he was a HERETIC . How is he worshiped as a saint ,and studied as a Father by the Orthodox Church? Or is it possible that Nestorios was not a heretic, but all this was a plot of Cyrilli of Alexandria who hated all Antiochians including st.John the Chrysostomos ?
@OrthodoxWisdom2 жыл бұрын
Look to the witness of the saints on this, not just the academic theologians and those who analytically look into the last. Here is a helpful article on the issue: orthochristian.com/90545.html

@evangelosdiamantopoulos8608 Жыл бұрын
@@fabiochanko523 You are tottaly out of point. Read my post. St. Isaac lived in Mesopotamia and was a bishop of the Assyrian Church. Nothing to do with Syria. And for your historical information, Syria was named so out of mistake , as the Greek historian Herodotus misplaced the kingdom of the Assyrians in that area ,which originally was called ARAMIA.

Orthodox Christians don't claim to follow "Yeshua Hamashiach," whoever that is (is it a Rabbi?). We follow and worship Jesus Christ, hence the name "Christian." Big difference.
