if i made a Predator, it would have 4 parts, 4 mini movies in one. "The lost tribe" Based on the lost tribe in part 2. "Wolf" Wolf is the BEST Predator! No question, all of the Predators we have gotten, none is equal to Him! ok one story based on the first film, kind of like power ranger ninja steel, have predators watching Dutch beat one. But trying not to make it look cheap, and like a cartoon. And the last story would be, about the Super Predators from Predators, i guess this could tie in with the last one. How do they rate killers? How do they know what humans have the highest Kills? Maybe a story about the Engineers. and a story about Ranks! But this Civil war idea is pretty cool, and explains a lot. but Wolf NEVER needed an upgrade! EVER!

Predators don't have to be mindless killing machines, they're clearly an intelligent species, so having a predator respect another warrior from a different species is not that far-fetched.

It also would have been a better way to eventually include the predator armor if they still wanted to do that in the future, but the way the did it here was awful. I disagree and agree. I would have preferred to see the "friendly Predators" fighting the big guy but having them riding an APC in camo pants manning mounted machine guns with the humans to do it would have been horrible. I want to see a Predator that fights like the one in the first movie and uses predator technology fighting the upgrade and maybe the humans are trying to help but really just in the way and being used as bait by the "friendly Predators". If they could have maintained the "friendly Predators" independence from the humans throughout the film while still being there on their own terms in a type of predator embassy that the predators controlled maybe because I also hate the idea of them being locked in a government facility and let out when the government wants to let them out. What type of warrior species, whose whole society is based on hunting other species and proving themselves superior, would allow themselves to be locked up by humans like that instead of just going out fighting to get an honorable death?

Just like AVPR, Prometheus, Covenant do the same thing but I do like AVP more then those movies. The PREDATOR ON DAY LIGHT making the predator less threatening creature is bs, i mean, the original Predator is mostly DAYTIME with light, all but the 3rd act and still the feels of him around is scary as shit! To be honest I would have liked to see the predators working with the humans. I don't see why people are so against it. That's so stupid that they say it's against they're honor code whatever that's not even true. One of the things I most love about the predators is how they can be friendly with humans, I don't know if you noticed but in every predator movie they never harm women or children. I really like that, unlike those nasty aliens who kill everything in sight even babies for God's sakes that's so horrible. I don't even like Aliens to begin with anyway. Also, I saw the predator on opening night and it was really good. I was not at all disappointed. I think Shane Black did a great job and I really hope he will continue with the predator franchise.

I can't argue against having a movie with two more Predators in it and it would have been nice to have seen Edward James Olmos on the screen again. I actually wasn't sure how Traeger died as it was so dark that I missed it. A clearer death for Traeger would have been ideal. For the most part, I liked what I saw even if I'm still not a fan of the Iron Predator gear at the end of the movie. I'd probably like it more if that wasn't there.

Shane black said in interviews at an early stage that the predator is seen in the later films to much and is no longer frightening he said something along the lines of yeah and a predator just walks by says Hi etc, then we get this film where the predator is front and centre and one of the earlier posters being banded about said you won't see him coming it sounds like to me either black and dekker couldn't get a decent script together when they started writing or their ideas were heavily sanctioned by the studio

I’m also a big fan of human predators (also in comics) and fighting with the Yautja. Personally I think a predator human alliance would form together like this A clan of predators travels to earth along side a group of super predators to reclaim the suit of armor that was stolen from them. After awhile the clan begins to see that the super predators have been disregarding their tradition and honor code, but when the super predators slaughter a group of unarmed humans including women and children simply because they had good genes. Seeing that the elders have been ignoring the behavior of these new predators they decide to aline with the humans to preserve their tradition.

this 3rd act works well for me than the one we got and for those saying the Preds working with us is dishonourable are incorrect, the comic book lore says otherwise. but this version seems to pull from the mid 90s arcade game and the late 90s comic series where we all work together and this version could've tied in the Engineers as the next enemy for a different take of AVP by redconning the 1st, erasing the 2nd and making this AVP what it should be, a sci-fi war.

I would have just loved to see more regular predators. After seeing how bad the movies was, it couldn’t have been much worse. Plus, it gives the upgrade a better reason to be here. I don’t buy the daytime didn’t look right junk, Predator 87 has a ton of daytime stuff and this one ended in the daytime. They could have color graded this film better, with some added noise/grain to break up that super clean look they had, but you know, they’re trying to be marvel. Shane Black is an idiot.

Now this is something that I would’ve wanted to see in The Predator. This detail makes it actually sound like an interesting film. I had a theory that there’s something going on in Predator society, where there are different factions. Some are hunting code purists, while others are trying to become the best hunters by any means necessary, even committing acts of blasphemy against their own culture. This was a total missed opportunity and it could’ve expanded the lore a bit more.

I would of enjoyed seeing the friendly predators I think it would of been cool to see them team up with humans to help them stop the updated predator and the other hybrids. To bad we didn't see that and got the ending that we did

They should seriously consider remaking the original third act for a home release. It sounds much better than the current 3rd act, lol. If they hype it properly it would be worth it in the end profit wise. It could be a "definitive version" so to speak.

Seeing how the movie ends with the line "That's my new suit" and then looks directly at the camera and says "for the sequels", I'd take stupid friendly preds in stupid tanks anyday.

If they really do have this much cut content and deleted scenes, I really hope they don't put it to waste and release an "original cut" or something because it is so much. Even if it's not as good as the released cut of the film and not canonical, I would still love to see it

I'm about two years late to this video and due to that, I am subbing. Also because your content when I view it is top notch and you deserve nothing but support. Now... WHY THE FUCK DID THEY CHANGE THIS? Whilst I did enjoy The Predator overall... this would have been a far better movie. It would have even made the ending we did get (not the Dutch cameo... which would have been nice... or the Ripley and Newt reveal which would have been awkward) have a more level headed feel. The only time it felt like the current ending was changed drastically was Nettles and Nebraska's deaths... it just was beyond sudden and without character logic. Much like the Snyder Cut I hope... one day we can get the proper version of this film. Or at the very least do what Romero did with Day of the Dead and release the original script to the public.

i dont know where i saw the part that made me look into this movie but i remember mckenna fight the hybrid and the hybrid got in the midle of the woods on hes back and there came somemore predators where mckenna states -friends of yours?- that part made me look into the movie and i didnt c that scene so is it part of the deleted scenes ?

I seen the film twice and never once noticed that dude shot himself in the head with the plasma cannon. I couldn't figure out what happened to him. It wasn't until I went on YT that I found out he shot himself.
