I would say that Le Tissier was one of the most underrated players in the premier league. His goals against Arsenal, Newcastle and Blackburn are some of the best I've seen. His magic on the ball, plus he was relatively good at free kicks. He probably would've been better if he had a stronger work rate and pace. If football was based on skill, he'd probably be in the Balon d'or vote consistently, in terms of the top 30. Even Xavi said he was his hero! I'm probably just an exaggerating Southampton fan, but he was a great player.
