*sigh* Read the title... this is about the Premier League. The Premier League was founded in the early 1990s, you know? So, "how the hell" is Zabaleta is on this list? Well, because he has been one of the best fullbacks in the Premier League, which is exactly what the title of the video is about. Zabaleta has been consistently the best right back in the league since 2010, until fairly recently. He is getting on now, and is not as good as he used to be, but he can still put in great performances like the one he did the other night when he pocketed Neymar. Ivanovich has also been great for Chelsea over the years he's been there. He is past his best now, but he has been instrumental to Chelsea's rock solid defence that has won them a lot of silverware.

If you ask players who played in the early years of the prem, they'd have told you Roland Nilsson (Sheff Wed/Sweden) was the best in the league. He might not have won as many medals, but this list doesn't call it "most medal winning" it's listed as best and yet discriminates against most sides that don't win many titles or against non England players at least within those teams.
