I remember being so blown away with the Gears of War 1 mad world trailer that my brother and I managed to get a 360 to play it, then playing Gears of War 1 with my brother when I was a little ass kid. That original trilogy to this day is one of the greatest game trilogies of all time. When they showed Dom with the mad world melody I started to shed some tears. I hope this game has an amazing story.

I was the little brother but I played as Marcus cause I refused to give up the dude lol he is and will always be my go to playable character. My brother loved Dom too and I won’t lie I felt you when it showed dom

as many others here, when i played gears with my friend I always played Dom. I became him in the game. he was my identity. when he died in gears 3 I couldn't play anymore. I felt like I wasn't a part of the experience. that was it for me. Seeing Dom in this trailer made me cry like a baby. i've never been more excited to get back into a game series!

I am really glad to see my boy Dom back. But at the same time unprepared of what Gears of War: E-Day has in stored for us. From what I recalled, Dom and Maria lost their children on Emergency Day which led up to his wife fell in despair and leave Jacinto. The rest we know what happens in Gears 1 & 2.

Will be interesting to see who they get to be in the squad with Marcus and Dom. If they do that at all, but I don't see why not. It could be Tai since he was around at the point in time. Theres also some recurring characters from the books that would make sense that would still be around. They don't meet Baird and Cole until Gears 1. Fun fact. It was because of Tai using a chainsaw on a grub that gave them the idea to create the Lancer that we all know and love. Regarding the books, I highly recommend the entire series. They are incredibly good.

Even though we not get a chance to see the Pendulum Wars (other than from the novels and comics), Emergency Day is the one event I am so dying to explore ever since the very first Gears of War game came out in 2006… and it sets 14 years before Dom broke Marcus out of prison.

honestly this trailer reminded me of just how strong the locust are that even just the standard drone is capable of throwing a grown man in full armor across a room😹 Also let's not forget that marcus was getting tossed around like that because this was literally his first encounter with a locust so the man was genuinely scared of it(they're literally freakishly strong monsters) coupled with the confusion of everything that as happening at the moment so it's no surprise that drone was manhandling him. But this was also his first locust kill too.

1:03 just saying don't expect the Berserker to make an appearance. In Gears 1 Baird had to explain to Marcus what a Berserker was so I doubt we'll see one in E-Day. Same with the Kantus and Therons.

Lancers out for dom this is gonna be a sad depressing game no wonder they stated your not ready for it the trailer of seeing marcus and dom is just getting started with the friendship I am not ready for this game and nether is the fans if we get the accurate comic book story telling hearts are gonna break and fans will be saying it's too much if they go over the top on horror and brutality and the emotional side it's gonna stick then when ylu replay gears 3 your gonna be sobbing harder because of what we know comics are only pictures and words but seeing it all come together in cutscenes and gameplay welp help us all
