الحاضر البسيط
the present simple tense
The Present Simple Tense:
-Add 's' at the end of the main verb in the third person singular
My cat likes to play on the carpet (my cat=it)
-Form questions conjugating verb to do in the present simple:
Do you speak English?
but,
Does he speak English?
-Form negative sentences by adding not to verb to do:
I do not/don't want to speak French

خلاصة القول؛ نستعمل الحاضر البسيط لصفة i am good أو لحدث يتكرر سواء كان حقيقة علمية أو عادة كل هذا حدث متكرر مثل i play football. هذه الجملة لا أعبر بها على أنني العب الكرة الان إنما أعلب الكرة فحسب يعني ألعب دائما الكرة ولست أفعلها الآن مثال آخر i wash my hand. جملة صحيحة رغم أنني لا أغسل يدي الآن انا أغسل يدي وأعني بهذا؛دائما أغسل يدي. للأسف في العربية ليس لدينا التفرقة بين الحاضر البسيط والحاضر المستمر. الحاضر المستمر يعبر عن حدث يقع الان. شكرا على مجهوداتكم وفقكم الله وسدد خطاكم
