You don’t work to earn salvation, how would you know you did enough? How could your unrighteous flesh perform righteousness? It is your soul that obtains salvation In Christ the HS is your Ernest! Like a Real Estate purchase you place a deposit in a Security Co. which is then placed in a secured acct. until the final transaction. In this case Heaven your destination/home.
