I couldn’t agree with you more. It is typically well assembled and finished all purpose gun from Browning. The fore end is the only feature that lets bit down, as you said, but it is a top end gun that looks the part without any bling.

I've had a 725 grade five for around 8 years now mine has gorgeous wood and handles a dream but I still don't know if the barrels on mine are steel proofed being the original 725 grade only one of the barrels had a fleur de lys stamp, could that mean only one barrel is fit for high speed steel?

£5300 is certainly a good chunk of money. What I've done for my gun is I bought a basic grade 2ish 725 sporter black. shot that for a couple years and then ive had a custom stock and forend put on. So overall vie spent about 5k on the gun. grade 5 wood, fit for me so I couldn't really ask for anything better. Just depends if you want a basic black action. That just simply isn't for some people. However, I do love the engraving on the grade 5 browning's. Beautiful guns. Also what apprenticeships for you offer? Your located about an hour away so perhaps a bit too far but I'd still be eager to know. Thanks

I hate the underside Browning logo on the bottom barrel. Why does Browning do this? It looks so cheap. I prefer the Beretta 687 SP III better.

It’s purely a sticker to protect the barrel when being displayed in gun racks and is easily removed. Very similar to the plastic barrel protecter that comes with new beretta

It’s still a 725 no matter what grade it is. I don’t like the trigger system in them.

What about the trigger? Only ever shot my 725, a mk38, invictus 5 and a summit so my opinion perhaps isnt as informed. Personally the 725 was my favourite because of how light it is in comparison.

I've shot and owned a lot of shotguns in my time I think the 725 trigger is one of the nicest triggers of them all.
