They've been around since about 2009, been following them since 2011. The backstory is Taylor Momsen (you might remember her as Betty Lou Who in the Grinch movie, or the TV show Gossip Girl) was one of the last people to see Chris Cornell alive. The Pretty Reckless had opened the last Soundgarden tour, and on the last night she waited for him after the show to thank him (he was her musical hero) Afterwards Chris committed suicide. That pretty much knocked her off the rails for several months, then the band's long time producer and friend was killed in an accident. She went into a deep depression and withdrawal that lasted almost 2 years, she was 25. This song is about her surviving that. Great reaction! 10 hats#151

Make Me Wanna Die is a great one from their first album idk 11 or 12 yrs ago. She was barely 16 yrs old when they recorded it. Heaven Knows is a great song and vid from I believe their second album. Death By Rock and Roll is amazing and off their latest album released in 2020

Tayler Momsen has said this is mainly autobiographical. inspired by real events she has gone through. including the loss of Soundgarden's lead singer Chris Cornell, who I think she was good friends with.
