In-person is even better than the video. It's an experience you will never forget. If your a local, you will want to go often, even if you are not chosen as a contestant. It is like a "rave" party. Seriously.

This makes me want to see a documentary of the show! As a matter of fact a show about making a game show (30 Rock Style) could be awesome!

Awesome video. Drew, you mentioned in your Reddit AMA that you funded this yourself. I'm in awe. Keep up the good work champ! TPIR4life!

Here it comes, from the Bob Barker studio in CBS in Hollywood, television's most exciting hour of fantastic prizes, the fabulous 60-minute Price is Right!

Now they don't say all of the that. They have shortened it up.

Hey there, just out of curiousity, what happened to the full bts video that used to be up where it shows master control, and all the other moving parts, including the floor director and there's even a headset feed? I'm teaching a class next month and it would be amazing if I could show that but I cant find it anywhere anymore. Why was it taken down? Or is it available somewhere? Big fan either way. thanks for this! Cheers

It wasn’t called the Bob barker studio until the 1990s. And Studio 33, where it was filmed isn’t being demolished.

Wow! that was amazing. it's like how #eatbulaga (Local philippine tv show) change it's set in every segment....

I see that you guys power the pedestal cameras from a 12 volt car battery. Question is how long does each battery last before it needs to be recharged? It's seen mostly during the "closed captioning is paid for in part by:"segment.

You Know Drew You lost so much weight ever since You’ve been doing the price is right all these years and Bob Barker retired Those Buddy Holly glasses I love it when you wear those it’s like your signature and I even loved your TV show and whose line is it anyway? But you and Kathy who play Mimi had a really good relationship and really put you in her plate as enemies on the Drew Carey show it was just all of that but I love your work Even though you’re from Cleveland

I'm curious to know how they open and close the big doors on stage.
@markschildberg16679 жыл бұрын
They used to open and close manually by pulling ropes. Today, the doors are electric and operated by push button.

Are the games changed on the fly in case a game goes too long?
@jwoodworth Жыл бұрын
No, they are picked before the show (from my research days in advance to get the prizes ready) and unless something very bad happens the games won’t be changed the day of. It would be really rare and hard to change it in the middle of a taping as most games take countless price tags, a rehearsal, and other things that are insanely difficult to change on the fly.

Too bad Drew Carey is the host of this once great show. The Price is Right is a shell of its former self. Go back and watch from the 80’s and 90’s when the legend was the star , Mr Bob Barker and his Barker’s Beauties, Janice, Dian and Holly. The show died when Bob retired. Never been the same since.
