In-person is even better than the video. It's an experience you will never forget. If your a local, you will want to go often, even if you are not chosen as a contestant. It is like a "rave" party. Seriously.

Hey there, just out of curiousity, what happened to the full bts video that used to be up where it shows master control, and all the other moving parts, including the floor director and there's even a headset feed? I'm teaching a class next month and it would be amazing if I could show that but I cant find it anywhere anymore. Why was it taken down? Or is it available somewhere? Big fan either way. thanks for this! Cheers

I see that you guys power the pedestal cameras from a 12 volt car battery. Question is how long does each battery last before it needs to be recharged? It's seen mostly during the "closed captioning is paid for in part by:"segment.

Rest In Peace Bob Barker Studio 1972-2023

It wasn’t called the Bob barker studio until the 1990s. And Studio 33, where it was filmed isn’t being demolished.

@NebulazGamez Yeah I know that studio 33 still exists too, they would NEVER demolish it ever! Maps also proved that it’s still open!

They used to open and close manually by pulling ropes. Today, the doors are electric and operated by push button.

Are the games changed on the fly in case a game goes too long?
@jwoodworth Жыл бұрын
No, they are picked before the show (from my research days in advance to get the prizes ready) and unless something very bad happens the games won’t be changed the day of. It would be really rare and hard to change it in the middle of a taping as most games take countless price tags, a rehearsal, and other things that are insanely difficult to change on the fly.

You fans gotta realize the fact that the crew is forever doomed from moving back to their original studio in television city, the fact that this studio is only medium sized and the audience isn’t even the full 300 capacity since season 48, because of that the edited audience applause machine is still being used since season 49 since it’s forever not a huge crowd anymore, there’s only 150 seats, also Drew refuses to be right next to the players at all times from some of the games which are Temptation, Line em up, Dice game, back to 74, range game, push over, and side by side, and the showcases! He keeps moving to the other side of those games since season 49 as if covid protocols still exist, same with being in the far away spot from the right showcase podium, like when he walks to the right player he doesn’t stay there, he backs away, same with the left player where doesn’t stay in the spot completely, also when he looks at his cards for the showcases, he doesn’t stay near the players, even the left podium! Also Drew still hasn’t gone back to dressing professionally since season 48 where he would wear always wear his black framed glasses, black or gray with striped jackets and pants and white or black or light blue dress shirts and neckties and shiny brown or black dress shoes of any color! He wears stupid Nike shoes also! Why? Also his glasses aren’t always the black framed ones! Also people can’t get up on stage anymore because everything’s all connected to one now! If only the move to haven was temporarily so they could move back to their original home! We fans found out 4 and a half years too late that the move was gonna happen no matter what since the crew knew it from seasons 47-51, they were going through pain, we should’ve know it sooner.

You Know Drew You lost so much weight ever since You’ve been doing the price is right all these years and Bob Barker retired Those Buddy Holly glasses I love it when you wear those it’s like your signature and I even loved your TV show and whose line is it anyway? But you and Kathy who play Mimi had a really good relationship and really put you in her plate as enemies on the Drew Carey show it was just all of that but I love your work Even though you’re from Cleveland

Too bad Drew Carey is the host of this once great show. The Price is Right is a shell of its former self. Go back and watch from the 80’s and 90’s when the legend was the star , Mr Bob Barker and his Barker’s Beauties, Janice, Dian and Holly. The show died when Bob retired. Never been the same since.
