I've heard many a horror story about how players celebrated like everything upon winning something, only to be deflated after the show when taxes have to be figured out (because winning something on any game show [whether it be here, or Wheel, or Jeopardy!, or even Tic Tac Dough from long ago] is treated the same as if you earned it on a full-time job [it is, however, slightly easier on games that have only offered cash, like Jeopardy!, because cash is usually nice round numbers, while prizes can fluctuate quite wildly in value from time to time]).
