What people don't realize is that when you get hit clean in the chin like how Tim did, you're concussed and buzzed for the rest of the fight. You cant think or see clearly, he couldn't protect himself and was acting on willpower alone after that... Tim had the wrong game plan and probably overlooked Bakhram a bit. As long as Tim can rebuild and get his confidence back mentally, he can be a champ again imo. Murtazaliev is definitely scary though, I wanna see him against more top guys.

I don’t think the guys career is over physically. It literally is coming down to what mental state he can bounce back from this. He’s coping a lot about his defence which he definitely should but it was a mistake not his lack of defensive skills and he got caught. He has been caught before, but he’s never really been hurt and he was hurt bad he just didn’t give him the respect that he gave Brian Mendoza who I thought he gave too much respect. I’ve never been an elite sportsman so I have no idea what it is to give your whole life to something and believe you’re invincible and have that rug pulled from under you so the mental bounce back will have to be tough.

Tszyu dont need to prove nothing to the U.S., to Australia, his father, or his critics. Only needs to prove it to himself. What makes you think Bachram is any damn different than Madrimov or the admittedly smaller Green Machine or Pistol or Jeff Horn? Be honest, these are fighters who have one signature performance and then anit black American fans get behind them hoping they can beat out p4p fighers... Crawford moved up to his 4th division and in his very first fight, he fought a champion and beat him for his title. If Crawford isn't legit (outside of Usyk and Inoue) tell me your favorite fighter who is doing more, casual... Fundora was ko'd two fights ago and probably would have lost to Tszu without the cut. Charlo dropped his belt to Bachram instead of fighting him after the Canelo fight and has been inactive. Crawford would be the betting favorite against them all but mainly due to Charlo's inactivity.

Like the Janibek/Mikhailovich fight, this fight highlights the vast difference in skills from graduates of the Eastern European training system which has been in place since the Soviet era & backed up by comprehensive amateur careers & the weakness of the Australasian boxing program, or lack thereof. Another example is David Nyika, who looks great against fellow Kiwis, Aussies or 3rd rate fighters from the US, but would get promptly KOd by any elite heavyweights. Joseph Parker had to train with the Fury camp to stay in the game & the only exception seems to be Jai Opetaia that has the skills to dominate his division. The Kiwis & Aussies will need to step up their game if they want to compete on the International stage. Tszyu was flat footed, fought squared up, lacked any lateral or head movement & kept his lead hand down resulting in him blocking punches with his face. Not his best performance...

Tim Tszyu fast tracked his way to a belt and has stayed in good fights. What's not to like? Everyone can't win them all. I have some concerns about his team/corner though. They let him take too much damage two fights in a row now.

You see what Bakhram just did to Tim Tszyu? Now everyone is talking about how great he is. However; because Crawford did not knockout Madrimov (Who most casuals had never heard of), people slagged off Crawford. Well Madrimov (Who Crawford beat conclusively) BATTERED Bakhram TWICE in the amateurs, in fact he KNOCKED BAKHRAM OUT one of the times. Madrimov also knocked Fundora out in sparring AND he was Bivol"s main sparring partner, when Bivol DESTROYED Canelo! BUT CRAWFORD HATERS DO NOT WANT TO GIVE BUD THE CREDIT FOR EASILY BEATING MADRIMOV.

At the same time that tim took a beating he could beat this guy. with just a bit of defence, he had murtazaliev buzed a few times but just came in reckless and was open
